A Company Built From the Ground Up

In the 1950s, our foundation was built in the field, loading trucks by hand, learning the work from the ground up, and developing an understanding of what it takes to get a job done right. That foundation carried us into the official start of the company in 1963 and continued through generations.

In 2017, Harris United was formed to bring that experience into a new kind of construction partner—one built for multi-site programs, modern brand standards, and the need for consistency across locations. Today, we operate across the Lower 48 to support brands that rely on disciplined execution and reliable results.

We approach every project with the same strengths that built this company, through taking ownership, staying accountable, and following through.

Chrissey Harris

Founder

Chrissey Harris has been working in the construction industry for over 25 years. Her background and education in accounting made her an immediate asset. In 2005 she started a construction company which she built up and owned for several years before successfully selling the company in 2008. She has worked in the specialties of earthwork, utilities, and concrete as well as general contracting. In early 2017 Chrissey made the decision to pioneer a women owned construction business. With the help of her two daughters she founded Harris United, llc. She often says, “We want to keep safety, environmental responsibility, and customer satisfaction at the forefront of every move we make.” She believes that a team work attitude is one of the keys to success.

Jamie Brown

VP of Operations

Jamie is a project and operations professional with deep experience executing complex builds and turning vision into finished, profitable results. He works best alongside driven owners and leadership teams who value clear thinking, accountability, and momentum. His edge is simple: seeing what needs to happen next and making it happen.

Sr. Project Manager

A graduate of Oklahoma State University, Jett received his B.S. in construction management in 1996.

Donny Ratliff

Chief Estimator

Donny started off in the field of surveying 15 years ago before moving into construction for the last 10+ years. Since making the move into project management, he is now the Chief Estimator and Head of Preconstruction for Harris United. Donny has been a part of the completion of over 100 Love's Travel Stops, among other projects.

Alanna Harris

HR & Payroll Director

Alanna is a graduate of Oklahoma State University, where she earned three degrees and built the foundation for her career. For the past 10 years, she has worked alongside her family in the construction industry, gaining hands-on experience and a strong appreciation for the work they do. Being part of a family-run business has shaped her values and approach, with a focus on consistency, attention to detail, and doing things the right way. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her four Rottweilers.

Adel Morris

Project Manager

Adel began working as a project manager over 10 years ago. She worked with the national brand Middleby Corporation, including Fortune 500 brands as well as private companies such as Tropical Smoothie, Dunkin Donuts, Subway, and Darden Corporation. Adel has been a part of the completion of over 100 Love's Travel Stores, RV parks, tire service stations, truck washes, amongst other projects.

Tricia graduated from Langston University, receiving her BBA in Accounting. She has over 35 years experience including accounts payable, accounts receivable, employee accounting, payroll, asset accounting and regulatory accounting.

Kevin has seven years of experience with Harris United, building Love’s Travel stops as well as truck care centers. He has been in commercial construction for twenty-eight years with a variety of builds and personal hands-on experience.

Deb Gomez

Director of Construction Finance & Accounting

Deb brings 30+ years of career experience to Harris United, ranging from manufacturing to energy sectors. She has a B.S. in Accounting and has developed strong skills in budgeting, accounting, internal controls, financial reporting, analysis and modeling and treasury management. She believes in delivering quality results that are both timely and accurate while operating in a team-oriented environment.

Mark Thompson

Superintendent

Mark is well versed in industry standards as well as construction processes in commercial and residential construction sectors. He has overseen the execution of complex and diverse projects, such as restaurant and retail remodels, office and tenant improvements, as well as residential and commercial ground ups. He is passionate about creating value for clients and stakeholders and advancing the growth and innovation of the company. He is always eager to learn new skills and technologies and to collaborate with talented and driven professionals. He is also a proud graduate of the University of Massachusetts/Amherst and the even prouder father of 21 year-old twin daughters.

John is an army veteran with 45 years of experience in petro chemical, industrial, and commercial construction projects.

Fred Ndimgwango

Pilot

Fred is a graduate of Oklahoma State University, receiving his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and his M.S. in Aviation and Space. He has worked in the transportation industry for four years.

Richard Reeder

Assistant Project Manager & Warranty Administrator

Richard has over a decade of experience in the construction industry, beginning his work in the field as a teenager and building a strong foundation across multiple aspects of the trade. He previously owned and operated a property management company before joining Harris United, where he currently manages all warranty issues and serves as Assistant Project Manager.

Jupiter "JuJu"

Chief Morale Officer (CMO) Jupiter (“Juju” to his coworkers) joined the company four years ago after being adopted from Skiatook Paws & Claws Animal Rescue and has basically been running the place ever since. He comes to work every day ready to greet visitors, supervise meetings he wasn’t invited to, and remind employees to take snack breaks. While his work ethic becomes questionable after 2 PM, his office morale contributions are unmatched. When he’s not busy overseeing the office or occasionally barking during important phone calls, he can usually be found napping under his mom's desk.
